My impression of LIVING & DESIGN is that many design-related professionals, such as designers and coordinators, are there. Compared to Tokyo, I feel there are not too many B2B trade shows in the Kansai area that can attract large attendance, but LIVING & DESIGN is on par with Tokyo in terms of the number of participants and opportunities for intensive business negotiations. This year again, many potential customers with sophisticated design sensitivity visited our booth and we had great business negotiations.
ON THE WALL INC.
This was our first time to participate in the trade show as an exhibitor and we achieved a major breakthrough in promoting our company to our business partners and potential customers in the Kansai area, which we were struggling to attain. Because LIVING & DESIGN is a high-profile trade show, a high proportion of people we contacted turned up and we were able to lead visitors to our booth constantly, which resulted in many new business negotiations. Through the event, we were able to promote our company to potential customers in Osaka and other parts of Kansai and this far exceeded our expectations. We were also impressed with the organizer’s exhibitor-friendly operation and because our products from our collection were rented out for use at the entrance and within the venue, we were able to approach the interested group smoothly. Many of the visitors said they were not able to visit Tokyo for trade shows but were willing to come if the show was held in Kansai. We would definitely like to be part of the show next year.
